A parent from each team must be present @ each practice. The girls should wear comfortable clothes and sneakers and bring their pom-poms to practice.
Uniforms:
Uniforms (skirt, vest, sweater) were distributed the week of 8/31. Contact parent coordinator Gretchen Piela @ 201.251.9340 or e-mail wwgretchen@gmail.com if you have not yet received a uniform or if you have any uniform-related questions. Black tights, black turtlenecks, black gloves, etc. can be worn under the uniform when it gets cold. White socks and white sneakers are also part of the uniform. Uniforms are machine washable (cold water please to minimize shrinkage!).
Games:
All schedules posted on this site. Please check website prior to games as they are subject to change.
UPDATED CANCELLATION POLICY:
1) In the event of inclement weather we (the co-chairs) will attempt to let each team parent know ASAP of any game cancellations. If you do not hear from us, assume the game is on.
2) We will leave it to the team parent to cancel cheerleading at a particular game if they feel it is warranted, since they are closer to the specific attendance/issues/concerns of their particular squad.
HELP NEEDED: The GRJFA needs help with staffing the snack stand at each of our home games and also a volunteer to work on the YEARBOOK - a great tradition. Please contact Ken Hatton if you are interested.
