INJURY REPORTING PROCEDURE

 

What to report - Any incident that causes any player, coach or volunteer to receive medical treatment and/or first aid must be reported. This includes even passive treatments such as evaluation and diagnosis of the extent of the injury or period of rest.

When to report  All such incidents described above must be reported within 48 hours of the incident.

Where to report  All incidents must be reported through our website (see link below).

Post Report - Within 24 hours, the GRJFA President will contact the injured party's parents to:

(1)  Check on the status of the injured party

(2)  Verify the information received

(3)  obtain any other information deemed necessary

(4)  in the event that the injured party required medical treatment (i.e., Emergency room visit, doctor's visit, etc.) will advise the parents of the GRJFA's insurance coverage and the provisions for submitting any claims.
